Day 21 At Sea

We are sea en- route to Pago Pago American Samoa, the weather today is looking great hot and sunny so no doubt activities full day poolside.

March 27th | Full day ay sea En-Route to Pago Pago

No mad rush today—we’re back at sea again, this time sailing toward American Samoa and Pago Pago. Breakfast was delivered to the room at 8:30, which worked out perfectly and gave us a good shot at grabbing a shaded sunbed up on deck.

After breakfast, we got ready and headed up to Deck 12, where we managed to claim our usual spot—always a win. With that secured, we knew we were set for a nice, easy day (weather permitting, of course).

It was pretty quiet up on deck—no live music or activities, just the usual background tunes—so it turned into a proper chill-out day. Not a bad way to spend it.

Lunch was a burger each at the terrace at the back of the ship, then it was straight back to the sunbeds for the afternoon. The only real interruption was hearing another “Code Mike” announcement, which is never a good sign. Apparently there have been a few of those already this trip, indicating medical emergencies. Given the age profile onboard, it’s perhaps not surprising, but still very sad to hear.

We wrapped up our day around 4:30, headed back to the room for showers, and then spent some time out on the balcony with a couple of rum and cokes—hard to complain about that.

At around 6:30, we checked to see if there were any openings at the specialty restaurants, but nothing that worked for us. So we kept it casual and went back to the terrace instead. With a light breeze and a relaxed atmosphere, it turned out to be a great choice—simple dinner, a few drinks, and an easy end to the day.

Back to the room after that, a bit of TV, and then an early night around 10:30.
